Polyaspartic technology was first introduced in the early 1990s by the Bayer Corporation.
Recent developments in polyaspartic coating technology have concentrated on achieving low or near-zero VOC coatings. The unique and adjustable reactivity of the polyaspartic esters allows for the design of fast-curing coatings tailored to the needs of the application. The coatings feature high-build, high-flexibility, low-temperature cure, UV stable, and excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance.
Polyaspartic coatings are very different in both application and coating performance properties from conventional polyureas. Our polyaspartics use a dual cure formula that allows a fast cross-linking cure under normal weather conditions. Our dual cure products give us the fast recoat time of quick dry coatings, and also the superior bond strength that slower curing resins have. We do not require additional heat or a secondary catalyst to cure. Use of an additional catalyst, such as in Urethane coatings, can cause top coats yo bubble in hot, and or humid weather. This problem is very rare with our coatings.
Our system displays superior substrate adhesion, and a double top coat of a high solids, highly durable, UV resistant clear coat. There is no other system that will outperform ours. We offer only the best polyaspartic on the market ... and of course it's Made in Canada!
